Raj V. Angolkar, D.D.S., M.D.S.

Dr. Raj Angolkar received his graduate orthodontic training from the University of Oklahoma. He is a board certified Orthodontist, certified by the American Board of Orthodontists and has over 20 years of experience.

Apart for teaching at the University of Oklahoma for three years, Dr. Angolkar has authored seven research papers published in the American Journal of Orthodontists and has lectured in many orthodontic meetings. He is a member of American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Society of Orthodontist, Washington State Orthodontic Society, and College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and Washington Dental Association.
He has been appointed to serve on the WA Dental Quality Assurance Commission by Governor Locke in 2005.

Dr. Angolkar is married and has two children, Tejal and Pranal. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, yoga, camping and acting in community plays.

Dr. Tripti Pawar Associate Orthodontist I joined Dr. Angolkar and his practice in 2007 as an Associate Orthodontist. I completed my dental degree from the University of Sydney in Australia and went on to complete my residency at the University of Pacific in San Francisco. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking and snowboarding.	Jana Business Manager I have worked for Dr. Angolkar for more than 8 years. As Business Manager, I enjoy dealing with the financial aspects of my job. In my spare time I love traveling and spending time with my two grandsons.

Ashley Business Assistant I have worked for Angolkar4Smiles for over 1 year as a business assistant and marketing coordinator. I enjoy doing lunch and learns and sharing the advantages of choosing our clinic for your orthodontic treatment. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, Sumit and my 3 year old son Mikai.	Nataliya Business Assistant I have been working for Dr. Angolkar about 6 years. I enjoy the staff members here as well as all the aspects of my job. I love spending time with my family and playing with my 3 children every chance I get.

Brenda Business Assistant I have worked as a business assistant at the front desk for Dr. Angolkar for over 4 months. I enjoy meeting new people and interacting with them as part of my job aspects. In my free time I enjoy working out and hanging out with friends and family.	Swati Marketing Manager Swati Angolkar is the better half of Dr. Angolkar. She has an MBA in marketing and is persuing a fashion design degree. Apart from taking care of their two children, Tejal & Pranal, Swati helps in marketing and general support for Angolkar4Smiles Orthodontics.

Sandy Practice Enhancement Coordinator Sandy has worked in dentistry for over twenty years in dental management. She brings to her work passion, enthusiasm, and humor. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, golfing, walking, and spending time with her granddaughter Kaitlyn.	Jennifer Clinical Assistant I graduated from Kaplan College in August 2009 and I joined Dr. Angolkar about 3 months ago. My favorite thing about my job is working with a great team and seeing patients leave the office with a smile on their face. Family parties are what I enjoy most, also hanging out with my friends, cruising around town, trying out new restaurants and most of all sleep, whenever I get a chance to.

Kelsey Clinical Manager I have been working for Dr. Angolkar for the past 6 years. The most exciting thing about my job is my new job title as back office manager. I enjoy helping all employees to the best of their abilities and teaching them new things. I also love working with children and meeting new people. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my fiancé Sean and my 3 year old daughter Chloe. I enjoy shopping, working out, family time, and we are looking forward to welcoming our second daughter in April. Our daughter Chloe could not be more excited to finally have a sister!	Breana Clinical Assistant I have worked for Dr. Angolkar for about 1 year after moving to the area when I finished my Dental Assisting program at Concorde in Portland. Probably my favorite part of working in orthodontics is seeing the amazing transformations throughout treatment. My boyfriend Scott and I enjoy visiting our friends and family, hiking, biking and traveling in our free time.

Amber Clinical Assistant I have worked for Angolkar 4Smiles a little over 6 months. Prior to working here, I attended Seattle Vocational Institute Dental Assistant Program. The program was about 1 year and I have been in the orthodontic industry for 4 years. What I like most about the field is placing brackets on the patient's teeth and meeting new people young and old. I also like placing separators. My favorite things to do in my free time include shopping and going to Azteca on Friday nights to karaoke with my father and spending time with family. I enjoy sleeping as well as making plans for my upcoming wedding and watching reality television.	Diana Business Assistant It has been about 2 months since I joined the Angolkar team but I must say that so far it has been an awesome learning experience. What I like most about my job is that I'm always busy and also I really like the fact that there is always something new to learn. I like to spend time with my family, especially my 3 year old daughter. We love to go horseback riding any chance we get; it's such a stress reliever.

Leena Clinical Assistant I've worked for Dr. Angolkar for about 4 months now. I actually didn't go to school for dental assisting, but attended Renton Technical College for medical assisting. What I like most about my job is the independence aspect of it, working on patients and keeping busy. I don't really have much free time between working full time, taking care of my daughter, and going to school part time, but I do enjoy just being with friends and family, and relaxing at home.	Daniel Clinical Assistant I have been working for Dr. Angolkar for 3 months. I finished dental school in Peru. I enjoy putting on braces and all procedures. In my free time I enjoy watching TV and talking on the phone. I also enjoy working out and every morning I read my dental decks to pass my dental boards. I am currently preparing to take the national dental boards part 1.

David Clinical Assistant I have been an orthodontic assistant for the last 9 months for Dr. Angolkar and was trained on the job. I like all different types of procedures including learning new ones. In my free time I enjoy spending it with my friends and family as well as my 2 dogs Annie and Donna. I also love shopping for designer clothes.
